David&Goliath is an independent advertising agency, located in Los Angeles. The agency was built on the idea of bravery and overcoming obstacles. The name itself, is reflective of the challenger spirit, a fearless mentality instilled in each and every employee.
Between 2012 and 2015, I was in charge of defining and managing a number of internal agency initiatives at David&Goliath, each of them embracing the theme of bravery. This work has spanned branding, presentation development, web site design, apparel, and other miscellaneous D&G collateral.
The Defiance Club is an initiative started by the founder of David&Goliath, David Angelo. His vision for the program was to establish a platform where the agency could help employees defeat their "Goliaths" or personal challenges and fears. Every year, four employees would be selected to tackle their Goliath. The agency would then offer support, time off, and funding to do so, while documenting their entire experience. I was tasked with designing and architecting the hub where all of these stories of defiance would live.
DNG 15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
In addition to The Defiance Club, I was also tasked with developing branding, apparel, and other collateral to celebrate the 15th year anniversary of David&Goliath. This project was a collaboration with Scott Pargett, an extremely talented Sr. Art Director and good friend. We had a lot of fun collectively exploring several identity lockups and product executions to celebrate this important milestone for the agency.
