DIGITAL PLATFORMS. INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES. DESIGN.
I was fortunate enough to start my professional career at R/GA, New York, and shortly after, AKQA, San Francisco. Both shops are highly awarded digital agencies and leaders in the industry. During my employment at each, I worked on the Nike account — touching various aspects of the business including Nike Store, NIKEiD, Nike Sportswear, Nike+, Nike Training, SPARQ, and Nike Women. R/GA felt like an extension of design school, I learned countless techniques and lessons from some of the most talented designers in the world. The time spent in New York really established my foundation as a designer and propelled my career. After two and a half years in the Big Apple, I moved to the west coast to join AKQA. During the stint in SF, I grew as a designer and continued to build my skillset. Below are some samples from the early days of my career.
The following work samples span the early days of my career. These projects were created between 2007 and the end of 2010. They represent some of my favorite early assignments — initiatives that I felt came out great, or where I learned a lot (in some instances, both). The work was created at two of the world's leading digital agencies — R/GA and AKQA — for various Nike sub-brands. The projects range from digital experiences that launched flagship Nike products, to more robust interactive platforms, such as the redesign of NIKEiD. In all of the projects I played a very integral, hands-on role.
